OFFICERS ELECTED AT ANNUAL MEETING OF MUNICIPAL BAND
. The. anniial meeting .of the Greymouth Municipal Band wa§ held on Saturday evening. Mr A. F. Reid presided and there Was a good attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet were . adopted. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr F. F. Boustridge; president, Mr A. F. Reid; conductor, Mr L. Hall; secretary, Mr J. Henderson; assistaht secretary and treasurer, Mr <H. Anderson; band committee, Messrs J. Rafiefty, G; Kendrick, A. Christianson, and R. Henry; custodians, Messrs C. George and K. Hill.
. Discussion took place on the procuring of new uniforms for members of the band' and whether the band would take part in the Dominion championships this year, but decisions on these matters were held, over until further advice was received from the annual conference in Wellington.
Following the meeting a social evening was held. Items were given by Messrs R. Henry (cornet solo) and J. Rafferty (euphonium solo) and Mrs Thomas (vocal solo).
