MR BULLITT SAYS “CLEAR THAT WAR IS COMING”
NEW YORK/April 23.
The United States was facing a struggle with Russia, not for security, but for survival, said Mr William C. Bullitt, a former American Ambassador to Moscow, in a speech today. ( The United States must stop Mr Stalin or submit to Russian rule, said Mr Bullitt, adding: “Mr Stalin has mounted the saddles of both Hitler and the Japanese militarists. He will not stop. He can only be stopped, and it is tragically clear that war .is coming towards the United States. Mr Bullitt said the United States was "making certain” of a thud world war by permitting Mr Stalin to add the races and resources oi Asia to his war potential.
