GUERRILLAS IN GREECE STEP UP OPERATIONS
(Rec. 11 a.m.) ATHENS. October 14.There has been increased guerrilla activiiy in the Peloponese ■ and unidentified aircraft are reported to be nightly dropping arms and munitions to the guerrillas operating in the areas of Mount Parnin and Tayghetos. The guerrillas have been sabotaging public power stations, adquaducts and bridges. Reuter’s correspondent says it is learned that “General” Markos’s “free Greece” movement may soon announce the creation of a “provincial government” in the Peloponese.
