Terrorist Gang’s Plan— JEWISH BOMB PLOT AGAINST BRITAIN

Officers of Scotland Yard’s Special Branch believe that the British airliner Star Tiger, which was lost without a trace in the Atlantic nine months ago, was destroyed by a parcel bomb posted by Jewish terror--Ist agents, says the Daily Mail. . . . Details of a vast plan by Irgun Zvai Leumi operators in Britain to smash the opposition to a separate Jewish State in Palestine and injure Britain’s export trade have now been revealed. One of this gang was Monte Harris, who was sentenced to seven years at Old Bailey ioday for storing an “arsenal” of explosives m premises in Gravel Lane, East London. Another 19 members of this gang, whose names are known to Scotland Yard, are still at large.

The Daily Mail acids that Special Branch investigators found that Jewish terrorists in Britain devised an improved version of the bomb used by von Papon’s German agents in the First World War to destroy British ships after they left American ports. The bombs were encased in rubber balloons, coated with sealing wax, and the time for them to explode and to cause fires was controlled by varying thicknesses of ■wax. . , Two troopships which left Southampton in the last three months had to be stopped because of fires, the Daily Mail says. Scotland Yard men formed the opinion that the fires •were caused by incendiary bombs in parcels. The police also'said that Irgun ter-

rorists planned to sabotage ships leaving Britain carrying British export goods. The bombs were to have been placed as ordinary parcels in the holds of the ships, thus destroying the export goods and all trace that the explosion had been caused by incendiaries. Leading terrorists came to England 18 months ago and set up their own intelligence system financed by blackmail, on people known as supporters of Israel State. Scotland Yard gpt the first real clue to the terrorists’ activities when a suspect was seen entering a Gravel Lane shop. The police were not' able to trap all the gang, but discovered that in the shop basement elaborate experiments had been made with parcel bombs.
