RUGBY LEAGUE West Coast Referees Hear Address
An address on interpretations > of rules in England was given to a largely-attended meeting of the w est Coast Rugby League Referees’ Association on Saturday night by Mr L. Hunter, co-manager ol trie IJ4( Kiwis. Mr Hunter also answered a large number of questions. Mr J. Griffin presided at the meeting. A vote of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late Mr J. Conaghan. , , Three new members were electee, Messrs J. Baltimore, R. Crase, and C. O’Flaherty. The resignations of Messrs W. Moore and F. Malloy were accepted with regret and it was decided to forward letters of thanks. It was reported that the names m Messrs J. Griffin, J. Mathews,. and 1. F McKenzie had been submitted as referees for the forthcoming trial matches. .
