COBDEN HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
The annual meeting of the Cobden Home and School Association was held in the school hall on Monday evening, when Mr W. Coom presided over a good attendance. The balancesheet, which showed a credit, was adopted. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr C. S. Powick; vice-presidents, Messrs L. B. Galbraith and S. Butterworth; secretary, Mr F. G. Thomson; treasurer, Mr A. H. Sumner; auditor, Mr L. B. Galbraith; executive, Mesdames I. Carpenter, G. McKenzie, A. H. Sumner, C. S. Powick, and Mr G. McKenzie. It was decided that the general meetings of-the association would be held on the first Monday' of each month.
