CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. 1 A charge of paying a carpentei, J. ’ Brehaut, more than the basic rate, - contrary to the Economic Stabilisation Emergency Regulations, brought against the Williamson Construction Company, was dismissed by Mr i. r - - Reid, S.M., in the Magistrate s Court - this morning. , l The prosecution said that Brenaut e had been paid 3s 9d an hour, but - defending counsel submitted that the - extra payment was made for dirty f work done on a Christchurch hospital d j The Magistrate said there were d grounds for holding that Brehaut s il work was of an unusual nature.
