(PA.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. When the truck he was driving was ’ struck by the Little River-Christ-church train at Aymes road level ■ crossing, Hornby, shortly after 10.30 1 o’clock this morning the driver had a • lucky escape. He was Mr W. J. Baker, . of Tai Tapu, who is suffering from shock and possible nose injuries. The truck, which was loaded with milk cans, was struck on the left hand 1 side just behind the cab and was car- - ried over 30 yards down the line and - was deposited facing in the opposite - direction.
