COAL MINE STRIKES SPREAD IN FRANCE
(Rec. 10 a.m.) PARIS, March 12. The strikes which began a few days ago in the nationalised mines of the Pas de Calais and Nord departments now involve 30,000 miners. The strikers say they are seeking “higher pay or lower prices.”
