POLITICAL POLICE RULE POLAND
(Rec. 11 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, November 13. Mr Mikolajczyk’s secretary, Mr Stephan Korkonsky, who escaped from Poland to Sweden, said he expected to leave for England in a few days. “All open opposition in Poland has erased. The political police are the greatest power in the country,” he said. “Every citizen feels their eyes upon him. The present regime is hated.”
