Bus Charges
Entire agreement with the recommendations of the -Commissioner of Transport (Mr F. L. Laurenson) that fares on the country bus service be reduced by 25 per cent., and that the charge for carrying prams and push chairs be abolished, was expressed by the Transport Department officer at Christchurch, who advised the Buller County Council that the matter is being taken up with the Railway Depai’tmeht.
