At the Nelson Land Board meetingheld at Nelson recently the following transactions were dealt with: —

Applications for occupation licenses: Section 12. town of Buller. Applicant, Mrs E. M. Arnold, Inangahua Junction. —Granted a year-to-year occupation license from 8/10/47 at annual rent of £L Sections 228 and 229, town of Reelton, area, 24.4 perches- (Education Reserve-second-ary), Applicant, R. N. Wildermoth, — ■Left in hands of the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Sections 38 and 42, block 11, Steeples S.D., area, 33 acres 12 perches, applicant, the Westport Golf Club.lnc.—granted a temporary occupation license at an annual rental of £4.

Application for land: Section 26, block 11, Steeples S.D., area, 27 acres il rood 16 perches, applicant, S. S. Lowther.—Granted a renewable lease at a capital value of £45 and an annual rental of £1 16§. Section 34, town of Carter’s Beach, area, 32 perches, applicant, W. J. G. Cochrane. —Approved.
