EARTHQUAKE damage AT JACKSON BAY

Several small landslides occurred in the Jackson Bay area as a result of the earthquake on Monday night, and the road between Jackson Bay and Okuru was blocked until early yesterday afternoon. The slips, however, were not largo and were quickly cleared, to enable traffic to go through. Tn one house at Jackson Bay all the crockery was broken. Water pipes were burst at their joints, but these were quickly repaired.
