OFFER TO INDIA TO STOP MOSLEM EXODUS
(Recd. 2 p.m.) LAHORE, Oct. 14. Pakistan, in an attempt to persuade India to abandon the policy which believes is forcing Moslems to leave India in greater numbers than anticipated, has offered India first call on western Punjab surplus food production.
Pakistan’s argument is that she will have some surplus if the influx of Moslems does not exceed 1,600,000 but no exports of food will be available if an unexpected increase in the population adds to the difficulties already created by the bad rice season.
