FAST CARGO LINERS
P. AND 0. PLANS ANNOUNCED (Rec 2 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 12. Fast cargo liners for the India, Singapore and Australia run are being built in British yards, says Reuter’s. They are among 18 new ships which the P. and O. has ordered. The company during.the war lost 52 passenger and cargo ships, 25 of which have already been replaced.
