AUSTRALIA Attley Wins C. F. Orr Stakes

MELBOURNE, February 9. At the Moonee Valley meeting the C F Orr Stakes ended in an easy win for Attley, which defeated the champion mare, Flight, by five lengths. The three-year-old, Star Act, was only a head behind Flight for third placing. Attley, Star Act, and Tribunal shared the early pacemaking, but then Flight went to the front and led at the half-mile by two lengths. In the next two fuilongc Attley pulled out a Bernborough finish to race around Flight into the lead. He then won effortlessly. Result:— „ . ~ C F.
