NATIONAL SAVINGS
DISTRICT QUOTA AGAIN SUBSCRIBED The total amount invested in Westland’s national savings campaign last week was £1,183. This figure exceeded the district objective by £l2O. All ten offices received quota credits, five of them by drawing on reserves. The investments at the five successful offices were as follows: —Greymouth £866/12/- (surplus £346 12/-); Brunnerton £7B/6/- (£2B 6/-); Blackball £55/18/6 (£5/18/6); Reefton £76/4/- (£3/4/0); Kumara £25/10/- (£10). The figures for the places which did not attain their quota, with deficiencies in parenthesis were:—Otira £B/7/- (£l/13/-); Ross £22/3/(£2/17/-); Waiuta £7/16/6 (£l7 3/6); Runanga £ll/14/8 (£BB/5/4): Hokitika £3O/10/1 (£154/9/11).
