WAREHOUSE ENTERED
SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER POLICE WARNED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 20. His suspicions aroused by men engaged in some activity at the loading platform of a warehouse' in Lome street last night, a man who had been visiting friends in the street, notified the police. Patrol cars were notified and it was discovered that the warehouse had been Ijroken into and 27 bags of sugar stolen. From the information given by the spectator, an arrest was made early this morning. A man appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, charged with breaking, and entering the warehouse of Moore, Wilson and Co. Ltd., in Lome street, and committing theft. In asking for a remand till Wednesday, Senior Detective E. H. Compton said that further inquires were being made.
