COMMUNIST PRESSURE ALLEGED ROME, September 18. President Denicola has accepted the resignation of the treasurer and nonparty member, Professor Epicarmo Corbino and has appointed a Christian Democrat, Signor Giovanni Battista Betrone, who was Under-Sec-retary for Finance in one of Giolliti’s pre-Fascist Cabinets. Professor Corbino said he was forced to resign through Communist Party pressure outside the Government against his economic policy.
