WELLINGTON, Sept. 18. Replacements have been found for the three men who quitted the s.s. Holmlea before she was due to sail from New Plymouth for Greymouth on Monday. The Auckland Seamen’s Union advised the ship’s agents at New Plymouth of this to-day. When the men arrive the Holmlea will clear port. Efforts to obtain men in Wellington were made by the principals of the Holm Shipping Company, but these proved fruitless. Because it is not known when the replacements will arrive from Auckland, the sailing of the Holmlea is still indefinite.
