TENSION IN BOMBAY BOMBAY, September 15. Il is officially stated that although the situation was quieter this morning, tension remained after the taxi shooting incident yesterday and developed during the day into 13 stabbings, with an occasional exchange of brickbats. Two were killed, 14 were wounded, and 43 were arrested. The totals for the 15 days’ trouble are 262 dead, 791 wounded, and 2965 arrested. The Bombay police chief has extended the ban on processions and public meetings for another month.
