FRESH PROPOSALS BY BRITAIN LONDON, September .14. Informed sources, according to the Cairo correspondent of the Associated Press, state that the British Government has submitted to the Prime Minister (Sidky Pasha) new proposals for the revision of. the 1936 British-Egyptian Treaty. Sidky Pasha will confer with the leader of the British delegation (Lord Stansgate) to-morrow. The Egyptian delegation will meet after the conference. The Deputy Prime- Minister (Louth Pa~bn) said earlier that he expected, ihc meaty negotiations to end this month. No new British Note had been received, but a new Egyptian Note on the Sudan had been drafted maintaining Egypt’s . demand tor unity under the Egyptian Crown.
