STRIKES IN JAPAN
FARM-HANDS AND LANDOWNER'S TOKIO, Sept. 15. The All-Japan Agricultural Union has sent out notices calling on 330,000 farm-hands to strike as a result of a failure to reach agreement about collective bargaining rights and wage increases with the All-Japan. Agricultural Association, representing landowners. About 600,000 coal, steel, and smaller industry workers will stage a 24hour strike to-morrow. Shipping is already. Tied np by the seamen’s strike.
