DETECTIVES REQUESTED TO

INVESTIGATE SUSPICION OF_ SABOTAGE SYDNEY, Aug. 2. Fire broke out in a lounge on the port side of the promenade deck of the liner Orbita (15,495 tons), when she was steaming between Melbourne and Sydney early yesterday, with more than 200 passengers from England. Stewards put out the fire with buckets of water, and the ship berthed safely at Circular Quay, Sydney, this morning.
