The Auckland Racing Club’s Great Northern meeting at Ellerslie tomorrow has attracted, the usual large fields and provision has been made for divisions in two races, though in the case of one the divisions will be run as’separate races. The main events on the card, the Great Northern Hurdles and the Cornwall Handicap, will attract wide interest. Win and place betting will be used, and the following horses should race prominently: — First Jervois . Handicap: Mallee, Bronze Royal. Greenlane Steeples: Tanga ta Pai, Tideover, Bronze Night.
