Women’s singles: Greymouth 8 Hokitika 2, Men’s four-ball: Greymouth 3|, Hokitika 41. Women’s fourball: Greymouth 3, Hokitika 2. Foster and Miss Reid won the first round of the Blackmore Cup with the score- of 72 nett, followed by Lindley and Miss Robertson 79. Hill and Miss Batty 80, Taylor and Mrs McKay 81. Cox and Miss McKnight, Davis and Mrs Davis. Mitchell and Mrs Thurlow 82, Caulton and Mrs McCarthy 83.
