There is little likelihood now that the Grand National Meeting will, have to be postponed because of snow, and ■ an inspection of the Riccarton Racecourse bv members of the committee !of the Canterbury Jockey Club this morning showed that of 18 inches of snow which fell during the recent storm only three inches remain.
