WEDDING
BALDWIN—NOLAN
The wedding took place at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, recently, of Ellen Angela Nolan, second daughter of Mr Thomas Nolan and the late Mrs Nolan, of Wataroa, and Albert Francis Baldwin, second son of Mr and Mrs Baldwin, of Tuatapere. Southland. Rev. Father Quinn, of Wataroa, performed the ceremony. The bride wore a short-sleeved model frock of dusky pink commando. The skirt was finished with fancy ruched pockets and the bodice was trimmed with large buttons to tone. She wore an American picture hat of black fur felt, the wide brim being finished with lacing of self felt, and she carried a bouquet of Spring flowers and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Catherine Nolan, sister of the bride, who wore a model frock of aqua blue commando, made on similar lines to the bride’s frock. She also wore an American picture hat in black fur felt, and carried a sheaf of Spring flowers. Mr Thomas Nolan, juni-., brother of the bride, was best man.
A reception was held at the residence of Mrs J. Nolan, Cobden, and Mr and Mrs Baldwin left later for Southland.
