At the Warden’s Court before Mr. G. G. Chisholm, S.M., sitting as. Warden, the following applications were heard on Tuesday: — John Collis and others for a coal lease and for an extension of time for the hearing of an application. Ob-* jected to by Archer Brothers.—Both granted. J. J. Walsh for a coal prospecting license and for an extension of time for the hearing of an application.—Withdrawn. J. Doran, and P. Doran for a coal lease and for an extension of time for hearing of application.—Both granted. W. G. Chandler for a coal prospecting license. —Withdrawn. Burnwell Coal Coy for (1) a coal lease, (2) for ani extension of time for the hearing of application.—Extension of time recommended. Other application ad-' journed. David Hammill and J. A. Redpath and Son for (1) a coal lease, (2) for leave to amend same, (3) for an extension of time for hearing of application.—Amendment and extension of time both granted; third application referred to Minister. R. F. Woodbury and others for a coal lease. —Withdrawn. Slab Hut Creek Gold Dredging Coy. for leave to surrender part of a dredging claim. —Accepted.. W. T. Hempseed for a coal lease. — Referred to Minister. V. W. Alborn for a water race license.—Granted. Estate of W. F. McArthur for leave to surrender a residence site licence. E. W. Loughnan for leave to hold an additional residence site license. A Campbell for an ordinary prospecting license. —All granted. Estate of Mrs. A. C. Hempseed for the issue of a duplicate of a lost document.—Granted. Monthly meetings of the recently formed Men’s Fellowship, are beingcontinued regularly and attendances are approximately 12 men from the membership of St. Stephen’s Church, Knox Church, and Wesley Methodist Church.
