GREY SUB-ASSOCIATION The annual meeting of the Greymouth Sub-Association was held last evening, Mr. O. Cheyne presiding over a full attendance of delegates. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted as satisfactoiy. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr. A. Winstanley (Runanga) ; Secretary, Mr. E. F. Pattinson (Runanga); Executive, Messis B. Griffiths (Paroa), G. Hutt (Greymouth), T. Anisy (St. Columba), M. Connolly (United), Wells and Raiity (Grey Valley); Trustees, Messrs A. L. McKay and E. F. Pattinson; Delegates to West Coast Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs B. Griffiths, G. Todd and Wells. , x It was decided to forward a letter of appreciation to Mr. H. Dodson, for his services as Secretary to the Sub-Asso-ciation.

The Grey Valley Clubs, which now conduct their own competitions, were admitted as a branch of the Sub-Asso-ciation, with authority to control their own finances and matches, as previously.

A district competition for intermediate grade players was drawn up and it was decided that no player from the Greymouth, United and Runanga Clubs above seventh position on the ladder should be played in the teams. Senior grade matches .are to be arranged privately by the clubs concerned. The draw for the intermediate competition, with the first-mentioned in each case as the home team, is as follows: — November 12: Greymouth v. Paroa, United v. St. Columba, Runanga v. Cobden; November 26: Paroa v. United, St. Columba v. Runanga, Cobden v. Greymouth; December 10: United v. Greymouth, Runanga v. Paroa, St. Columba v. Cobden; January 14: Greymouth v. Runanga, Cobden v. United, Paroa v. St. Columba, January 28: St. Columba v. Greymouth, United v. Runanga, Paroa v. Cobden.
