CYCLING The Greymouth Cycling Club opened its track racing season at Victoria Park last evening, but owing to unfavourable conditions there was a poor attendance of competitors and spectators. The results were as follow: — Half mile: F. Shrives, 1; H. Furness, 2; J. Taylor, 3. A length separated the placed men. Time—lmin. 19 sec. One mile: G. Bennett, 1; F. Shrives, 2; G. McClure, 3.
