, CELTIC CLUB’S. BANQUET. The Celtic Rugby Football Club’s annual banquet was held in the United Pavilion, last evening, Mr J. D. Cullen presiding over an attendance of over 100 members, supporters, and representatives of sister clubs. The following toast-list was honoured:—“The King”; “West Coast Rugby Union” (the Chairman —Mr A. A. Adams); “Celtic Club" (Mr J. J. Byrne—rhe Chairman) ; “Referees” (Mr S. McDonnell —Messrs AV. Rapley and C. F. Cockburn); “Kindred Clubs” (Mr G. Fogarty—-Messrs A. Agnew and W. Conza); “Club Coaches” (Mr C. R. McGinley—Messrs D. Anderson and F. Saunders); “The Press” (proposed by Mr AV. Clancy); “The Artists” (by Mr L. Phillips); “The Committee” (by Mr G. Fogarty); and “The Chairman” (by Mi' A. Fraser). Music was supplied by Am Beck’s orchestra, items were contributed 1 by Messrs J. Duffy, AV. Payne, L. Williamson, and Messrs J. Paterson and R. Buchanan presided at the piano.
