N.Z.’ERS AT WIMBLEDON. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, April 28Although New Zealand has not entered for the Davis Cup, the Dominion will be represented at Wimbledon by A. D. Brown and D. C. Coombe, who are making the trip in a private capacity. They have secured the nomination of the National Association for the Wimbledon tourney. Brown leaves Auckland to-night to join Coombe at Wellington, whence they sail to-morrow by the Port Chalmers for Britain. It is their intention to play in the Beckenham and Queen’s Club tournaments before competing in the British events. After Wimbledon, the New Zealanders will make a round of the United Kingdom tournaments' before leaving in September for home. GERMAN "CUP” TEAM.
