BROADBENT’S PROGRESS. A message from Batavia states, that the airman passed over Sourabaya at 11 a.m. local time. Broadbent was reported to have, arrived at Singapore at 5.55 p.m. local time. SINGAPORE, April 18. Landing at Fowey (Cornwall), after al flight of 144 miles in six hours, a Londoner, J. S. Fox, broke the gliding record. ROME, April 18. The Italian fliers crashed near Zuara on the Libyan coast, after circling the aerodrome preparatory to landing. They were lifted up by a strong wind and then pancaked.
