The_New Zealand police heavyweight champion boxer, Jack Cossill. has been prevented from competing here at the amateur police boxing contests, in consequence of a cablegram from New Zealand, which intimated he had competed in professional contests. LEAGUE WITITDRAWAL LONDON, February 26. The Streatham-Mitcham Club has withdrawn from Rugby League, owing to financial difficulties. YACHTING The Greymouth Regatta Club has decided that to-morrow’s event shall be an open race for the W. Roberts trophy. The distance will be two laps of the four-buoy course (four miles).
