[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Mrs J. Kilgour, Oamaru, is the guest of Miss M. Nimmo, Taylorville. Miss Longson left on Thursday for her home in Temuka. Mrs .1. Dando, Hanmer, arrived on Saturday on a visit to her daughters. Mesdames L. Walton and R. Scott. Mrs W. Buchanan. Dunedin, is visiting her parents. Mr and Mrs F. Johanson. Lower Dobson. Mrs J. Greig. Ilataitai. Wellington, arrived on Saturday, and is the guest cl Mr and Mrs T. Morgan. Taylorville. Mr A. Pickering left on Saturday morning for Christchurch, where his maii'iage to Miss H. Coates takes place to-day. Mr and Mrs G. Dixon and family, Taylorville, left on Friday on a camping holiday to Picton and the Sounds. Messrs J. Lancaster. F. Bernard, and J. Rostern left on Saturday on a holiday visit to Chrir-itchurch. The last whist drive for the year conducted by the Taylorville School Committee, was held, on Saturday evening, the successful players being Mrs J. Richardson 1, Mrs E. Rostern 2, Mrs E. Dando 3.
Owing to heavy rain setting in yesterday the Brunner Defence Rifle Club did not complete the shoot for Mr W. Fisher’s trophy. It will be held next week-end.
