UNITED DEFEAT GREYMOUTH. Due to the unfavourable weather, only one tennis match was played over the week-end, that between the United and Greymouth Clubs. The match w’as commenced in fine w’eather, but rain late in the afternoon resulted in , n n interruption and several games w’ere unfinished. In the A teams’ match, at the United courts, United w'on by 13 sets 138 games to 8 sets 108 games, and in the B teams’ match, at the Greymouth courts, United won by 13 sets to 11, each winning 143 games.
