BASKETBALL
ASSOCIATION MEETING. At the fortnightly meeting 01 the executive of the West Coast Basketball Association there were present, Misses M, E. Ray (President), M. Tcimeni, 1. McMillan. M. Buckman ami E. Rohloff (secretary 1. An apology for absence was received from Miss M. A. Gardner. , The resignation of Miss M. Griffiths from the executive was accepted with regret, and Miss B. Dixon was elected to fill the vacancy. The application of the Taylorville Club, to register two new members, was granted. The Canterbury Association wrote stating that they would advise at the mid of the month whether or not they would be able to send teams to the West Coast. Th<- Reefton Sub-Association forwarded Hie information required for the questionnaire. In reply to the circular which was sent out last month relative to the remit to the Council meeting concerning minor Associations, the \\ airarapa Association advised that they would support the remit, while the Marlborough Association advised that they preferred to wait and hear the West Coast Association’s views expressed at the Council meeting before committing themselves.
