[our own correspondent.] REEFTON, July 22. A frost of 13 degrees was recorded at. Reefton this morning and this, added to a fog which lay over the town for almost all the morning, made residents feel that spring was a long way off. Tw'enty-seven entrants competed in a table tennis tourney on Tuesday night, in the Gymnasium. Mr. T. L. Floyd defeated Mr. C. Coxall by 11 points.
The following nominations have been received for the positions on the executive of the Reefton Trotting Club: — President: Messrs. F. W. Archer and F. Cook; Vice-President: Mr. W. J. Barry; Committee of six: Messrs. A. Patterson, W. Power, T. A. Dellaca, A. Palmer and J. Fielding; .Auditor: Mr. T. H. Lee.
