Regarding the printers’ dispute, a further conference was held in the afternoon, at. which various proposals for a settlement were discussed. After a full and frank review, from both sides, the Union representatives withdrew, and it is expected that a crucial decision will be made to-mor-row afternoon.
SOUTHLAND UNION
INVERCARGILL. March 21
A fully attended meeting of the Southland Branch of the Typographical Union was held to-day to discuss the printing trade dispute. Various resolutions were passed regarding the present situation, but no information regarding the nature of the resolutions was made available for publication.
