RICCARTON SHOOTING
INDEMNITY FOR INFORMER. [per press association.] CHRISTCHURCH, December 26. In addition to the reward of £6OO, •which was offered several months ago for material information, or evidence, which would lead to the conviction of the person, or persons, who caused the death of Donald Fraser, licensee of the Racecourse Hotel, Riccarton, on November 17, 1933, an indemnity is now offered to any informer. A notification to this effect has been received from Mr. Cobbe, Minister-in-charge of the Police Department, by the Christchurch police. The Department offers, in addition to the reward, an indemnity against prosecution to any accomplice, not being the person who actually caused death, who shall first give information.
