GREY DEFENCE CLUB. • The Grey Defence Rifie Club’s third competition for J. Tennent’s trophy was fired off on the Club’s range at Cobden yesterday. Rifleman T. Garth was top score with 93. The conditions were 10 shots at 300yds, and 11 shots at 600 yards, and the scores were as follows: — 300 600
The following are leading for the trophy with one shoot to go:—W. Garth 98, 94, 92 —284; T. Garth 96, 94, 93—283; J. Prendergast 98, 91, 91 —280; C. Richardson 95, 92, 91 — 278.
