MORE MONEY—LESS HARVEST. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT,] WASHINGTON, December 18. Although the American nation’s crop production in 1934 was the lowest for many years, as the result- of both drought and the Government’s 'curtailment programme, the value of the crop was the largest for several years according to the Department of Agriculture report, published to-day. Ths current harvest is worth approximately 4782 million dollars, compared with 4114 million dollars in 1933, and 2882 million dollars in 1932. For example, the maize crop this year was 1380 million bushels compared with 290 G million bushels in 1932; but it brought the producers 1085 million dollars, compared with 558 million dollars obtained in the former year. The wheat crop this year was 496 million bushels, or 250 million bushels belu .v that of 1932, but it was worth almost 200 million dollars more i than the 1932 crop.
