DUKE AND DUCHESS OF KENT. [BY CABLE—PRESS ASSN f —COPYRIGHT.] LONDON, December 16. In contrast to a fortnight ago, the Duke and Duchess of Kent drove almost unnoticed along Piccadilly from Trent Park, Barnet, where they are spending the second part of their honeymoon, to have tea with the Duke and Duchess of York, it being the Duke of York’s birthday. NEXT YEAR’S COURTS. LONDON, December 16. The Lord Chamberlain has announced that courts in 1935 are being held as follows:—Two in March and two in June. Never before have the courts been so early. The first is normally held in May, but May is the date of the King’s accession, and His Majesty’s Silver Jubilee engagements would render courts in May impracticable. The fact that the debutantes’ cars are no longer kept for hours in the Mall has made it possible to hold courts in the chilly month of March.
