NARROWEST PARISH
CLERGYMAN ON IRAK PIPE-LINE. The Rev. Henry Moss, a young Canadian clergyman, has been put in charge of what he claims is the longest and narrowest parish in the world. It is 1,200 miles long and about 6 feet broad. Mr. Moss is chaplain of the Irak Petroleum Company, and his duty is to minister to the men engaged on the construction of two pipe-lines running respectively from Kirkuk to Tripoli and Kirkuk to Haifa. His headquarters are at St. Luke’s Church, Haifa. Ho travels regularly along the two lines which traverse the destert, A branch of “Toe H” has already been formed in tho “parish,” and it recently received a visit from the founderpadre, the Rev. “Tubby” Clayton.
