COMPENSATION FIXED. Alfred D. R. Gilbert (Mr J. W. Hannan), extended alluvial claim, 2 acres 1 rood 24 perches, Block 16, Greymouth S.D., 21 years. Objected to by Mary Gibson Smith (Mr T. F. Brosnan). Evidence was taken on the question of compensation, the witnesses being Mrs Smith and her son, James Gibson Smith. Evidence was given for the applicant by Earnest Warnes, valuer.
