[OUB OWN COBBESPONDENT.j HOKITIKA, May 11. In accordance with his edict from the bench at a recent sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, Mr. H. Morgan has increased the fines r.i first offenders found on licensed premises aftei hours. Previously he had imposed a fine of 5/-, but this morning three first offenders, the first to appear his statement, were each fined lt>/-> with costs. . A boy of 12, who appeared m the Children’s Court, this morning, was severely admonished, on a charge ot the theft of keys. A damaged undercarriage was sustained by Mr. H. T. Parry’s Redwing ’plane, while landing at Waiho yesteiday afternoon. The occupants ot the plane were Messrs. R. Mathieson ana H. Lawn. ________
