WEATHER FORECAST General Inference: A shallow depression is now crossing the Dominion while a fairly intense anti-cyclone covers the Tasman Sea. Conditions are favourable for a spell of fair weather. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with southerlies predominating. A few scattered light showers at first, but weather mainly fair to fine and mild. Seas smooth to moderate.
