Golden Sands Ltd., Barrytown,. reports 42 ounces 10 dwts, for 36 shifts. MOUNT DAVID SLUICING CO. ’Phe Manager of the Mt. David Sluicing Company, Ltd., reports that as a result of a landslide caused by the recent heavy rain a break was made in the race. This will necessitate a cessation of regular sluicing in the meantime, and probably the driving of a tunnel at the affected spot. Two of the Dunedin directors of the company have proceeded to the Coast to investigate this matter, and also io enquire into a slight labour trouble which had occurred. BRIAN BORU DREDGE.
