REEFTON NOTES
[our own correspondent.] REEFTON, October 29. A fire yesterday afternoon destroyed a tent near the residence of Mr E. J. Scoble, Inspector of Mines and spread to a shed built close by. Willing hands were soon on the scene and put the blaze out. The final match of the season will take place on the Golf Links on Saturday. The draw for the Mixed Foursome is as follows, and will be played over 12 holes for the Club Trophy. McKenzie and Mrs Potter v. Porter and Mrs Porter. Blom and M.rs Alborn v. Lee and Miss Magee. Pratt and Mrs Pratt v. Campbell and Mrs Campbell. Floyd and Mrs Sharpe v. Hubbard and Mrs Hubbard. Prentice and Miss King v. Magee and Miss Kearns. Patterson and Mrs Patterson v. Brett and Miss Lee. Hepburn and Mrs Discaciati v. Stevens and Miss Dunne. Russell and Miss Blackmore v. Spencer and Mrs Rea.
